What adverse effects will the rise of water temperature have on Ultrapure water equipment?

The normal operation of Ultrapure water equipment has certain requirements for the temperature of raw water, and neither too hot nor too cold. This article introduces the adverse effects on Ultrapure water equipment when the water temperature rises?
Under high temperature environment, the reverse osmosis membrane performance of Ultrapure water equipment will be greatly negatively affected. When the water temperature increases, the desalination rate of the reverse osmosis membrane will decrease in an inverse relationship. The reason is that under fixed flow operation, an increase in water temperature will reduce viscosity and lead to an increase in water flow rate, which directly leads to a decrease in operating pressure and then a decrease in desalination rate. Therefore, when there is an increase in water temperature, we should take corresponding measures to adjust and maintain according to the actual situation.
In addition, the impact of high temperature is not limited to the decrease of desalting rate of Ultrapure water equipment. The increase of water temperature will make some microorganisms have a good growth and reproduction environment and make the equipment contaminated by microorganisms. Most bacteria are suitable for growing in water temperatures ranging from 15 ℃ to 30 ℃, and their metabolism and growth rate will increase as the temperature increases.
And when microorganisms enter the concentrated water section of the reverse osmosis system, the nutrients inside are the nutrients for their growth and reproduction. They can quickly reproduce and form biofilms on the surface of the reverse osmosis membrane within a few days, increasing the water pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the reverse osmosis system. Not only will the desalination rate decrease, but the water production also decrease, and the water produced will also be contaminated.
The above is the introduction of the adverse effects of rising water temperature on Ultrapure water equipment. When Ultrapure water equipment is found to be contaminated by microorganisms, measures shall be taken immediately to clean the equipment. It is recommended to use a 0.1% NaOH solution for chemical cleaning in an environment with a water temperature below 30 degrees Celsius and a pH value of 11-12.
